Do you have good internet or cable?
We have strong WiFi at all of our cabins and treehouses. The Cabin, Dove, Eagle, and Hummingbird have cable TV. The new treehouses have smart TV’s that allow you to connect to your personal subscriptions / providers.
Do you allow pets?
We allow dogs at the treehouses with the pet friendly paw! Cabins without the pet friendly paw are at our discretion. We ask that guests be respectful of our cabins and our furniture. Dogs are not allowed on our furniture and we charge a fee if this rule is broken. Please keep dogs on a leash when on the broader property.
What are the best hikes around?
The best hikes can be accessed along the Fiery Gizzard trail. A full list of recommendations in the area can be viewed by clicking here. Our personal favorite is the Grundy Loop. Only ~15 minutes from our property to the trailhead, the Grundy trail runs along several waterfalls and is dog friendly. For bigger falls / swimming holes check out Burgess Falls and Greeter Falls.
How close together are the treehouses?
The treehouses are 50 feet apart. You may see your neighbors driving or walking, but you are far enough away that you won’t hear each other. Out of the new treehouses – The Radnor, The Caney and The Harpeth only have 1 neighboring treehouse instead of 2. Our older rustic treehouse The Hummingbird is the most private followed by The Dove.
What items are provided? What do I need to bring?
We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay – soap, shampoo, linens, towels, coffee, pots / pans, etc. Firewood can be purchased directly on the property for a small fee.
How many people sleep comfortably in a treehouse?
2-4 depending on the treehouse. Think of the treehouse as a hotel suite with kitchen, living room, and extended outdoor space.
Will the hot tub be working?
We run our hot tubs year round. We use a saline system (salt water) that is less harsh on the body than pure chlorine. You will see a “wand” dangling in the hot tubs to regulate the salt water (don’t be alarmed if you see a cord in the tub!). We clean our hot tubs regularly and do our best to keep them in service for every stay. Occasionally we experience problems, but we understand hot tubs are a key deciding factor when booking a cabin.
Are any of your treehouses single story?
The Eagle, Dove, and Hummingbird treehouses are all single story with beds on the same floor!
Any good Restaurants nearby?
Check out our things to do page with our favorite restaurant recommendations. The High Point is our favorite choice in town – amazing food served in a house frequented by Al Capone in the 30’s.
How does check in work?
We will send you check in instructions via email prior to your stay. Instructions will include driving directions and a unique door code that will be generated on your behalf. Check in is at 3 PM.
Can I check in early?
